26prints: LouLou & Tummie http://loulouandtummie.com I spotted this beautiful screenprint via Behance. What struck me was the effect the use of angles had on guiding the eye around the design. It appears the grid works both vertically, horizontally and at a 45 degree angle. Keeping to this grid creates a consistent feel throughout the design and also forces the eye to snake down the design. The colour palette is limited but powerful. The intense orange and green literally jump out from the greyscale background. It also creates a layered feel which links nicely to the layered element of screen printing.
